JANAK RAJ BHATTA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Executive Director of our organization possesses a deep-seated passion for anthropology and holds a degree in English Literature. Janak, with over 15 years of experience in communication and digital media marketing, brings a unique perspective to every project he undertakes. His journey began as a human rights officer at the National Human Rights Commission of Nepal, where he refined his skills in advocacy and social justice. Later, he joined the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu for seven years as their Community Engagement Coordinator.
Janak’s unquenchable curiosity drives him to delve into the depths of history, culture, and global affairs, while also being aware of the pressing socio-political issues facing Nepal. He believes in the power of human-centered storytelling to drive change and is an unwavering advocate for digital freedom, inclusive development, and good governance. With his diverse background and unwavering commitment to positive impact, Janak continues to lead with empathy, innovation, and a profound understanding of the human experience.
